Comparing Agile concept and Jazz music

It’s very appealing to me to compare jazz to agile concept.
you get to witness great things in their music like freedom and creativity.

True freedom of improvisation only happens when you have strong
constraints in place. These constraints are things like melody, harmony, rhythm and they’re all woven together as a strong underlying system of music.

Just like the agile concept that we move within a framework such as scrum, kanban, scrumban and etc., while with respect to these frameworks and constraints as an underlying system, we must have the necessary freedom and flexibility. Depending on the specific situations of each project, it is the art of an agile coach (just like a jazz artist) is to distinguish these two areas and it might be likened to this: walking on an edg!

The important point that I want emphasize is that, there is a misconception about existing framework. Some people claim, having any framework is in opposite of the flexibility value of being agile. But in fact, unless a framework is defined, the concept of flexibility becomes meaningless.

When we have a baseline, we can create flexibility and curvature with respect to that line.

If that baseline does not exist, on what basis should we really be flexible?
